1.3.1 System

• CPU: Dual Intel® 800 Mhz Xeon® / LV Xeon® processors

• L2 Cache: CPU built-in 1MB / 2MB L2 cache

• BIOS: Award Flash BIOS (4Mb Flash Memory)

• System Chipset: Intel® E7520 + 6300ESB

• SATA/EIDE hard disk drive interface: Supports up to two indepen-

dent Serial ATA hard drives (up to 150MB/s) with software RAID 0 or

1 functions as well as two IDE hard disk drives, or four enhanced IDE

devices. Supports PIO mode 4 (16.67 MB/s data transfer rate) and

ATA 33/66/100 (33/66/100MB/s data transfer rate.)

• Floppy disk drive interface: Supports up to two floppy disk drives, 5¼

(360 KB and 1.2 MB) and/or 3½ (720 KB, 1.44 MB). BIOS enabled/

disabled.

1.3.2 Memory

• RAM: Up to 8 GB in four 240-pin DIMM sockets. Supports Dual-

channel DDR2 400 MHz (ECC Registered DIMM).

• Bus interface: PICMG 1.3 SHB Express compliant bus interface

• PCI Express Bus: Two x8 & One x4 to backplane

• PCI Bus: 32bit / 66MHz PCI-X to backplane

• Enhanced parallel port:

Configurable to LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, or disabled.

Standard DB-25 female connector provided. Supports EPP/SPP/ECP

• Serial ports: Three RS-232 ports with 16C550 UARTs (or compatible)

with 16-byte FIFO buffer. Supports speeds up to 115.2 Kbps. Ports can

be individually configured to COM1, COM3, COM4 or disabled

• Keyboard and PS/2 mouse connector:

One 6-pin mini-DIN connector is

located on the mounting bracket for easy connection to a keyboard or PS/2

mouse. An on board keyboard pin header connector is also available

• AC'97 Audio: PCE-7210 can provide audio function with the optional

audio extension module PCA-AUDIO-00A1

• USB ports:

PCE-7210 supports up to four USB 2.0 ports with transmission

rates up to 480Mbps; these ports are linked to the backplane base on PICMG

1.3 specification. Only the Backplane supports USB port link can offer this

function
